In collaboration with the Circular Economy Network, in the circular economy category, the 2024 Sustainable Development Award<\/strong> has been assigned to DECATHLON<\/strong>, together with Oldrati Group<\/strong> and ESO RECYCLING<\/strong>, for the production of the Hike 100 ice traction cleats<\/strong>.
These cleats are made using a compound containing 40\u201350% rubber derived from recycled end-of-life inner tubes<\/strong>, thanks to the use of an innovative industrial-scale devulcanization process<\/strong>.<\/h3>\n

The 2024 Sustainable Development Award<\/strong>, promoted by the Foundation for Sustainable Development<\/strong> and Italian Exhibition Group SpA<\/strong>, with the patronage of the Italian Ministry for the Environment and Energy Security<\/strong>, has reached its fourteenth edition this year<\/strong>.
The award was presented in recent days during ECOMONDO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We are particularly pleased with this recognition, which highlights the commitment of our esosport brand<\/strong> in the collection and management of end-of-life inner tubes and tyres<\/strong>.
Through our ESObox collection points<\/strong>, we are present in 86 DECATHLON stores across Italy<\/strong>, contributing to closing the circular economy loop with an innovative and sustainable project.<\/p>\n

From the collection of end-of-life sports materials to their transformation into new products, this project represents a concrete example of circular economy in action<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
