Every year in Italy, around 2 million bicycle tires and 2 million inner tubes are thrown into general waste, amounting to more than 1,000 tonnes of improperly managed waste.

esosport bike was created to offer a concrete and sustainable solution to this issue.

The service is aimed at municipalities, bike-sharing services, companies, bicycle shops and sports retailers.

Once the service is activated, the customer receives a Starter Kit that includes the ESObox—the dedicated container for collecting inner tubes—and the hanger bar for storing used tires (along with promotional materials).

Here, users can drop off the end-of-life materials from their bicycles, which will then be collected through ESO’s logistics service, transported to the ESO RECYCLING plant in Tolentino, and transformed into secondary raw material.
